TAIR short description cytokinin response factor 5 (.1)
TAIR annotation CRF5 encodes one of the six cytokinin response factors. It is transcriptionally upregulated in response to cytokinin. CRF5 belongs to the AP2/ERF superfamily of the transcriptional factors. CRF proteins rapidly relocalize to the nucleus in response to cytokinin. Analysis of loos-of-function mutants revealed that the CRFs function redundantly to regulate the development of embryos, cotyledons and leaves. (.1)
